Submission Guidelines

The Worldwide Journal of Creative Research and Thoughts (WJCRT) welcomes original, unpublished, and high-quality scholarly manuscripts from researchers, academicians, scientists, educators, professionals, policymakers, industry experts, and practitioners across diverse academic disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow these submission guidelines to facilitate an efficient editorial evaluation, peer-review, and publication process.

Only manuscripts that satisfy the journal's ethical, technical, and editorial requirements will be considered for peer review.

1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

WJCRT publishes original scholarly work in various categories including:

All submissions must present original scholarly contributions that have not been previously published and are not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere.

2. Language and Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English suitable for an international academic audience.

Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to obtain professional language editing before submission.

Recommended Length

  • Original Research Articles: 4,000–8,000 words
  • Review Articles: 5,000–10,000 words
  • Short Communications: 2,000–3,000 words
  • Case Studies: 3,000–6,000 words
  • Conceptual Papers: 3,500–7,000 words

Formatting Requirements

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Times New Roman
  • 12-point font
  • 14-point bold headings
  • 1.5 line spacing
  • One-inch margins on all sides
  • Continuous page numbering
  • Left-aligned text

3. Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize manuscripts in the following order:

  2. Author Names
  3. Institutional Affiliations
  4. Corresponding Author Details
  5. ORCID iD (recommended)
  6. Abstract (150–250 words)
  7. 3–8 Keywords
  8. Introduction
  9. Literature Review (where applicable)
  10. Research Objectives
  11. Methodology / Materials and Methods
  12. Results
  13. Discussion
  14. Conclusion
  15. Limitations (where applicable)
  16. Future Research Directions (recommended)
  17. Acknowledgements (optional)
  18. Funding Statement
  19. Conflict of Interest Declaration
  20. Author Contributions (recommended)
  21. AI Use Declaration (where applicable)
  22. Data Availability Statement (where applicable)
  23. Ethics Approval Statement (where applicable)

4. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly summarize the research background, objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions.

Authors should provide three to eight keywords that accurately represent the manuscript and facilitate indexing and discoverability.

5. Referencing Style

Authors should use one referencing style consistently throughout the manuscript.

Accepted citation styles include:

  • APA 7th Edition
  • MLA
  • Chicago
  • IEEE (for engineering and technology disciplines)
  • Harvard Style

Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and every reference listed must be cited within the manuscript.

6. Originality and Plagiarism Policy

Submitted manuscripts must represent original scholarly work.

  • The manuscript must not have been published previously.
  • The manuscript must not be simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
  • All submissions undergo plagiarism screening.
  • Acceptable similarity should generally not exceed 15%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used terminology.
  • Plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, manipulated images, or unethical publication practices may result in rejection or further editorial action.

7. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Authors may use AI-assisted technologies only for limited purposes such as language editing, grammar correction, formatting assistance, translation, or coding support.

AI systems must not be listed as authors and must not generate fabricated data, references, analyses, or conclusions.

Where AI tools have been used substantially during manuscript preparation, authors should disclose their use in an AI Declaration statement.

8. Ethical Requirements

Authors are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable ethical standards.

  • Obtain ethical approval where required.
  • Obtain participant consent where applicable.
  • Respect privacy and confidentiality.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Disclose funding sources.
  • Obtain permission for copyrighted materials.

9. Peer Review Process

All eligible submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.

Editorial decisions may include:

  • Accept
  • Accept with Minor Revisions
  • Major Revisions Required
  • Reject

Authors should respond carefully to reviewer comments and submit revised manuscripts within the specified deadline.

10. Submission Procedure

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system or via the official editorial email as specified on the journal website.

Each submission should normally include:

  • Ethics Approval (where applicable)

11. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their published work.

Published articles are distributed under the journal's Creative Commons License in accordance with the journal's License Terms.

12. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): ₹2,124 (for accepted manuscripts).
  • No submission fee.
  • No peer-review fee.
  • APC is payable only after final editorial acceptance.
  • Payment of APC does not influence editorial decisions.
