Submission Guidelines

The Worldwide Journal of Creative Research and Thoughts (WJCRT) invites original, high-quality research contributions from scholars, academicians, researchers, and practitioners across diverse disciplines. To ensure a smooth and efficient submission process, authors are requested to follow these detailed submission guidelines.

  1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

WJCRT accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles: Manuscripts presenting novel research findings, including theoretical or empirical studies.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of existing literature on a specific topic, including critical analysis and future directions.
  • Case Studies: In-depth analysis of real-world situations, offering practical insights and lessons learned.
  • Conceptual Papers: Manuscripts proposing new frameworks, theories, or models based on original ideas or perspectives.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports or preliminary findings of research.
  • Scholarly Essays: Thought-provoking discussions or reflections on a relevant topic in the field of creative research.
  1. Manuscript Preparation

Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.

Length:

  • Research Articles: 4,000–8,000 words
  • Review Articles: 5,000–10,000 words
  • Short Communications: 2,000–3,000 words

Formatting:

  • File Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 pt (text), 14 pt bold (headings)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  1. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title of the Paper: A concise and informative title.
  2. Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s): Include full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses for all authors.
  3. Abstract: A concise summary of the manuscript (150–250 words), highlighting the key research question, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
  4. Keywords: 3–6 relevant keywords that capture the essence of the manuscript.
  5. Introduction: Briefly introduces the research problem, objectives, and background context.
  6. Literature Review (if applicable): A comprehensive overview of existing literature related to the research topic.
  7. Methodology: Clear and detailed explanation of the methods, research design, and data collection processes.
  8. Results and Discussion: Presentation and analysis of research findings, along with a discussion of their implications.
  9. Conclusion: Summarize key findings and their significance, including recommendations or future research directions.
  10. Acknowledgements (optional): Acknowledge any contributions or support received.
  11. References: A complete list of references cited throughout the manuscript, formatted according to the journal’s referencing style.
  1. Referencing Style

Authors must follow a consistent referencing style. WJCRT recommends the following citation styles:

  • APA (7th Edition)
  • MLA
  • Chicago Style

All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  1. Originality & Plagiarism
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere at the time of submission.
  • The journal employs plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) to ensure manuscript originality.
  • The acceptable similarity index should not exceed 15%, excluding references.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors should ensure that the manuscript is anonymized, and no identifying information is present.
  • Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments carefully and submit revised manuscripts within the specified timeframe.
  1. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure ethical compliance in their research, particularly in studies involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data. Authors are responsible for:

  • Obtaining necessary permissions for copyrighted material.
  • Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Ensuring that the research adheres to ethical standards.
  1. Submission Process
  • Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system or via email as directed on the journal’s website.
  • Each submission must include:
    • Manuscript file in the required format.
    • Author declaration form (confirming originality, conflicts of interest, and ethical compliance).
  1. Copyright & Licensing
  • Authors retain the copyright to their work.
  • Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
  1. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
  • Article Processing Charge (APC): ₹2,124 (Indian Rupees) for accepted manuscripts.
  • APC is due after final acceptance, and payment details will be provided upon acceptance.
  • No submission or review fees are charged.
  1. Revision & Publication
  • Authors must submit revised manuscripts within the specified timeframe if revisions are requested.
  • Final acceptance is subject to editorial approval, based on quality and alignment with the journal’s aims.
