Peer Review Policy
The Worldwide Journal of Creative Research and Thoughts (WJCRT) follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to maintain the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all manuscripts submitted for publication. The peer review process ensures that all published research meets the highest standards of scholarly excellence and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the respective field.
Peer Review Process:
- Initial Screening:
Upon submission, the manuscript is screened by the editorial team to ensure that it meets the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be rejected without further review. - Double-Blind Review:
Submissions that pass the initial screening are sent for peer review. The double-blind review process ensures that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain confidential to prevent bias and ensure impartial evaluation. The editorial team selects independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise for each submission. - Review Criteria:
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria: - Originality and significance of the research
- Methodological soundness and clarity
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Quality of analysis and interpretation
- Organization, language, and academic presentation
- Types of Review Decisions:
After peer review, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions: - Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication without any changes.
- Accept with Minor Revisions: The manuscript is accepted after minor changes or clarifications.
- Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript requires major revisions before it can be reconsidered for publication.
- Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal.
- Authors’ Responsibilities:
Authors are required to carefully address reviewers’ comments and submit revised manuscripts within the stipulated timeframe. The editorial team may conduct additional rounds of review if necessary to ensure the quality of the publication. - Reviewer Confidentiality and Ethics:
All reviewers are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the manuscripts they evaluate. They must not share, use, or disclose any details of the manuscript or its content during the review process. Reviewers must also disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from reviewing manuscripts where such conflicts exist. - Final Decision:
The final editorial decision on the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript lies with the Editor-in-Chief. The decision is based solely on the academic merit of the manuscript and is made without bias based on the author’s gender, race, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs. - Transparency and Integrity:
WJCRT is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the peer review process. The journal adheres to ethical publishing practices as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
