License Terms

The Worldwide Journal of Creative Research and Thoughts (WJCRT) follows an open-access licensing framework to ensure the free dissemination and reuse of scholarly research, while also protecting the rights of authors and maintaining academic integrity.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of their work after publication in WJCRT. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and display the work in all formats (online and print) for academic and scholarly purposes.

Creative Commons Licence

Unless otherwise specified, all articles published in WJCRT are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). Under this license:

  • Attribution: Others may copy, distribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, even commercially, as long as they credit the author(s) for the original creation.
  • Reuse and Adaptation: Users may adapt the work, incorporating it into new works, provided that proper attribution is given and any modifications are indicated.
  • Non-Exclusive: The license is non-exclusive, meaning the authors retain the right to publish their work elsewhere and can use the article for any non-commercial or educational purposes.

Author Rights

  • Deposit in Repositories: Authors are permitted to deposit the published version (Version of Record) of their article in institutional or subject-based repositories, personal websites, and academic networking platforms, with appropriate citation to the journal.
  • Share and Use: Authors can freely share their work on personal websites, social media, academic platforms, and use it in future publications, presentations, or teaching, provided proper credit is given.
  • Commercial Use: Authors are allowed to use their work for commercial purposes without needing prior permission from the journal, as long as proper citation is maintained.

User Responsibilities

Users of articles published in WJCRT are required to:

  • Proper Attribution: Cite the original author(s) and the journal whenever using or sharing the content.
  • Non-Misleading Use: Ensure that the content is not used in a misleading or unethical manner.
  • Adherence to License: Comply with the terms of the Creative Commons license, ensuring proper attribution and respecting any modifications made to the work.

Third-Party Content

If an article contains third-party copyrighted material, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and ensuring proper attribution. The license provided by WJCRT does not extend to third-party content that is not owned by the author(s).

Modifications and Amendments

Any variations from the default license terms (e.g., if a different license is applied to a specific work) must be explicitly agreed upon by both the author and the journal and will be clearly indicated on the article.

Termination of License

The license to WJCRT remains in effect until the article is removed from the journal's archive, which may occur if:

  • The article is retracted.
  • The author or journal determines that the work should no longer be publicly available.

The author retains the right to request the removal of their work from the journal's archives, although this may be subject to conditions and timelines outlined in the journal's policies.

Policy Updates

This License Terms policy may be updated periodically to align with evolving academic, legal, or open-access publishing standards. Any changes will be communicated through the journal’s official website.
